Here at Cupid Chess Academy, we are excited to have you on this journey with us. Together we filled 2023 with chess activities, classes, programs, tournaments, champions and so much more.
We opened the doors to our Cupid Chess Academy physical location in Malabar, Arima. Here we offer a variety of programs, chess equipment, experienced instructors, group classes, private lessons, and events for all levels of players.

We redesigned the logo, created merch samples and even launched the Cupid Chess Academy App for improving Chess development.
Congrats to the students that participated in chess tournaments nationally and regionally at the CAC games hosted in T&T. They trained hard and has impressive performances.
Our founder and head coach, Fide Master Cupid had an eventful year coaching online, in schools and at the Cupid Chess Academy physical location.
He also found success in tournaments. At the national level FM Kevin Cupid finished 3rd in the 2023 National Chess Championship of Trinidad and Tobago after a grueling battle of the top 12 players through qualification all through T&T. This has afforded him a place in the 2024 Chess Olympiad carded for September 10th to the 23rd, 2024, Budapest Hungary.
FM Cupid journeyed all the way to the Czech Republic to compete internationally. His notable achievements are, tied 3rd out of 75 players in Prague Open 2023 and tied 4th out of 105 players in Bruno Open 2023 only facing defeat at the hands of only one opponent after four hours and 86 moves. Let us all congratulate coach Cupid for his outstanding performance and commitment in the year 2023.
