JANUARY NEWSLETTER
Congratulations to all the Champions of 2023 National Youth Chess Championship and Special congrats to the kids of Cupid Chess Academy. CCA went with 12 kids out of 160 participants and in the end we came home with 3 Titles in various categories. U-8 Females, Catherine Ali of Curepe Presbyterian School 1st place undefeated. U-10 Open, Nicholas Mc Letchie of Lambeau Anglican Primary School (Tobago in the house) finishing undefeated. U- 14, Zachary Murray of Presentation College Chaguanas finishing 6 out of 7 points, winning 6 games and losing only 1. Still, thank you must be extended to the rest of our kids that fought to their hearts delight and all came home with at least one win. These notable mentions are U-8 Open- Jeth Dottin. U-8 Female - Hallie Libert. U-10 Open - Adam Ali, Amani Douglas. U-10 - Female Zuri Dottin- Joseph. U-14 Open - Tannon Niemeyer . U-16 Open - Syon Mano, Vade Baptiste, Zacharee Douglas. We are so proud of the kids, parents and coaches of Cupid Chess Academy and look forward to accomplishing great things the rest of 2023.
Cupid Chess Academy Physical Address If you are not yet on the journey, now is a great time to become part as we are about to open our first Physical Chess Club in Arima, minutes away from the Arima License Office. Face-to-face classes are scheduled to begin on Saturday 4th of February and Tuesday 7th respectively.
Our online classes continue as usual for those that enjoy the convenience of being home while still enjoying the many benefits of chess development. See you at our clubhouse soon and thank you for being an intricate part of the growth and development that has taken place in Cupid Chess Academy in just 3 years of being established. Be sure to share with friends and family and let us grow as a community and as a people.

This is our new logo for our upcoming merch. We have listened and will deliver. Great relationships lead to wonderful creations and that we plan to follow through with. Look out for polo shirts, chess bags and much more.
